Giro Source Mips Helmet

TRAIL-FOCUSED MOUNTAIN BIKE HELMET WITH INTEGRATED MIPS PROTECTION, DEEP COVERAGE, EFFECTIVE VENTILATION AND AN ADJUSTABLE MOTO-STYLE VISOR.

The Giro Source Mips Helmet combines advanced MTB protection, secure fit and effective ventilation in a rugged design built for mountain biking.
Deep coverage provides confidence when the terrain gets technical, while 17 vents with Giro's Wind Tunnel internal channeling help move cool air through the helmet and expel warm air. The Roc Loc 5 Mips fit system integrates with Mips protection for a secure, highly adjustable fit, while the full lower Hardbody wrap adds durability for regular mountain bike use.

KEY FEATURES

Integrated Mips Protection
The Integrated Mips Brain Protection System combines the Mips slip plane with the helmet's adjustable fit system and is designed to help reduce rotational forces that may be transferred to the head during certain angled impacts.

Deep MTB Coverage
The Source Mips features extended coverage suited to mountain biking, providing a secure, confidence-inspiring feel for everything from flowing singletrack to more technical terrain.

17-Vent Wind Tunnel Ventilation
Seventeen vents work with deep internal channeling to direct cooling air over and around the head while helping exhaust heat and warm air.

Roc Loc 5 Mips Fit System
Giro's Roc Loc 5 system allows one-handed adjustment of both fit tension and fore-aft tilt, helping riders fine-tune the helmet for a secure and comfortable fit.

Full Lower Hardbody Wrap
In-Mold construction fuses the polycarbonate shell to the foam liner, while Giro's lower Hardbody wrap extends around the lower portion of the helmet for enhanced durability without unnecessary bulk.

Adjustable Moto-Style Visor
The screw-in visor provides indexed adjustment with three riding positions plus a high position that creates space for storing goggles above the brow when they're not being worn.

Goggle-Friendly Design
Generous visor adjustment makes the Source Mips particularly well suited to mountain bikers who alternate between glasses and goggles.

WHY TO CHOOSE

The Giro Source Mips is designed for riders wanting a more performance-focused mountain bike helmet with deeper coverage and greater adjustability than a general-purpose recreational MTB helmet.
Its combination of integrated Mips protection, 17-vent cooling, Roc Loc 5 adjustment, durable lower Hardbody coverage and a goggle-compatible adjustable visor makes it a versatile choice for regular mountain biking and more technical MTB terrain.

PERFECT FOR

Mountain biking, MTB singletrack, technical trails and riders who want deeper coverage with excellent ventilation. Around Brisbane, the Source Mips is well suited to regular mountain biking at locations including Gap Creek, Daisy Hill, Bunyaville and Ironbark Gully.
