As one of the largest Giant stores in Australia, this role requires a confident and capable retail professional who can step straight into a busy sales floor and deliver a high standard of customer service from day one.


    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As a Retail Sales Assistant at Giant Brisbane, you will be responsible for providing knowledgeable advice and outstanding service to a wide range of riders. You’ll work with one of the world’s leading bicycle brands in a demanding retail environment where efficiency, product expertise, and attention to detail are essential.


    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Delivering exceptional customer service and accurate product advice

    Assisting customers with bicycle, accessory, and apparel sales

    Processing transactions using point-of-sale systems

    Maintaining store presentation and merchandising standards

    Working closely with the workshop and wider sales team

    Managing multiple customer interactions during peak periods

    ABOUT YOU

    A minimum of 3 years experience in bicycle retail

    Strong product knowledge across bicycles, components, and accessories

    Confident communicating with customers and handling busy sales periods

    Able to work independently and as part of a team

    Reliable, organised, and professional in approach

    A genuine passion for cycling and the bike industry

    Giant Brisbane is seeking an experienced Bicycle Mechanic to join our workshop team in a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment. As one of the largest Giant stores in Australia, this role requires a skilled and efficient mechanic who can confidently manage a steady workflow while maintaining a high standard of workmanship across both bicycles and e-bikes.

    ABOUT THE ROLE

    As a Bicycle Mechanic at Giant Brisbane, you will be responsible for the assembly, servicing, and repair of a wide range of bicycles and e-bikes, from entry-level models to high-end performance and electric bikes. During peak trading periods, you may also be required to assist the sales team on the shop floor to help manage customer demand.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assembling new bicycles and e-bikes to manufacturer standards

    Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electronic, and e-bike systems

    Performing routine services and detailed repairs

    Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards

    Managing workshop jobs efficiently to meet turnaround times

    Providing basic product and technical support to customers when assisting on
    the sales floor

    Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment

    ABOUT YOU

    A minimum of 3 years experience as a bicycle mechanic in a professional
    workshop

    Experience working with e-bikes, including motors, batteries, and electronic
    systems

    Strong technical knowledge across modern bicycle components and technologies

    Confidence with hydraulic brakes, electronic shifting, and suspension systems

    Comfortable engaging with customers when required

    Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to
    detail

    Reliable, punctual, and professional in approach

    A genuine passion for cycling and bicycle mechanics
