Giro Helios Spherical Helmet

PREMIUM ROAD AND GRAVEL HELMET WITH SPHERICAL TECHNOLOGY POWERED BY MIPS, EXCEPTIONAL VENTILATION AND ALL-DAY PERFORMANCE COMFORT.

The Giro Helios Spherical combines advanced protection, effective cooling and a sleek, versatile design for cyclists who split their time between road, gravel and longer adventure rides.
At its core is Spherical Technology powered by Mips, using a ball-and-socket design that allows the helmet's outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during certain impacts. Progressive Layering combines two different densities of EPS foam for more comprehensive energy management, while 15 Wind Tunnel vents, deep internal channeling and the Roc Loc 5 Air fit system work together to deliver excellent airflow and comfort.

KEY FEATURES

Spherical Technology Powered by Mips
Giro's Spherical Technology uses a ball-and-socket design powered by Mips, allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during certain impacts to help redirect rotational forces away from the brain.

Progressive Layering
Dual-density EPS foam liners are engineered to manage energy across different impact speeds, providing a more comprehensive approach to impact protection.

15 Wind Tunnel Vents
Fifteen large vents work with Giro's internal channeling to direct cooling air over and around the head while helping expel heat.

Roc Loc 5 Air Fit System
The Roc Loc 5 Air system suspends the helmet slightly above the head, allowing cooling airflow to pass directly over the scalp. One-handed adjustment allows riders to fine-tune both fit tension and fore-aft tilt.

Deep Internal Channeling
Internal airflow channels work with the helmet's large ventilation openings to move cool air across the scalp and exhaust warm air during harder efforts and warmer conditions.

Ionic+ Padding
Ionic+ padding uses pure silver to provide natural, permanent odour protection, helping keep the helmet feeling fresh through regular use.

Road And Gravel Versatility
The Helios Spherical combines the streamlined profile and ventilation expected from a premium road helmet with the versatility required for gravel and mixed-surface adventures.

WHY TO CHOOSE

The Giro Helios Spherical is designed for cyclists wanting premium protection, excellent ventilation and genuine versatility without committing to a dedicated aero or pure race helmet.
Spherical Technology powered by Mips and Progressive Layering provide Giro's advanced approach to impact protection, while 15 Wind Tunnel vents and the Roc Loc 5 Air system prioritise cooling and comfort.
Its combination of performance and versatility makes the Helios particularly appealing to riders who regularly move between road, gravel and longer endurance rides.

PERFECT FOR

Road cycling, gravel riding, endurance cycling, long-distance rides and mixed-surface adventures. Around Brisbane, the Helios Spherical is equally at home on River Loop and Mt Coot-tha road rides or longer gravel adventures further afield, including the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
