WHY YOU'LL LOVE IT

The Talon 24 Disc makes mountain biking accessible and enjoyable for young riders, combining a lightweight aluminium frame with stable geometry and components designed specifically for smaller riders.

Its lower standover height and centre of gravity help improve balance and manoeuvrability, while the 50mm suspension fork absorbs bumps and uneven surfaces for a more comfortable ride.

Shimano 7-speed gearing provides simple, accessible gear changes, while mechanical disc brakes deliver dependable stopping power. With a kickstand, bell and mini fender included, the Talon 24 Disc is ready for everything from neighbourhood adventures to family trail rides.

KEY FEATURES

Lightweight ALUXX Aluminium Frame
The ALUXX-grade aluminium frame combines lightweight construction with durability and geometry designed specifically for younger riders.
A shorter seat tube, lower bottom bracket and reduced standover height create a lower centre of gravity, improving stability, balance and manoeuvrability across varied terrain.

50mm Front Suspension
The custom suspension fork provides 50mm of travel, helping absorb bumps and uneven surfaces for improved comfort and control.
Whether riding along dirt paths, gravel tracks or recreational trails, the suspension helps young riders maintain confidence as they develop their off-road skills.

Shimano 7-Speed Drivetrain
Shimano REVOSHIFT 7-speed gearing provides straightforward gear selection through an easy-to-use twist shifter.
Paired with a Shimano Tourney rear derailleur and 14-34T cassette, the drivetrain offers a practical range of gears for neighbourhood rides, gentle climbs and recreational trails.

Mechanical Disc Brakes
Mechanical disc brakes provide dependable stopping power and controlled braking performance across changing riding conditions.
With a 160mm front rotor and 140mm rear rotor, the braking system is paired with junior-sized alloy brake levers designed for smaller hands.

Kid-Specific Cockpit
The Giant kids tapered handlebar features a 30mm rise and is paired with Giant Junior grips for comfortable handling and control.
Short-reach brake levers accommodate smaller hands, helping young riders develop confidence when braking, steering and navigating uneven terrain.

24-Inch Alloy Wheels
Giant Kids 24-inch alloy wheels provide a balance of durability and manoeuvrability for younger riders.
Paired with Giant Junior Sport 24x1.95-inch tyres, they offer traction and stability across paved paths, dirt tracks and recreational trails.

Junior-Specific Crankset
The 140mm alloy crankset features a 32T chainring and protective chain guard.
Shorter cranks are designed to suit younger riders, supporting comfortable pedalling while helping reduce the likelihood of pedal strikes when cornering.
