To make a full-featured shoe that rivals minimalist designs in weight, we created the Imperial road shoe, which features our own ultralight monofilament Synchwire mesh upper that fits and feels like a second skin.

The Imperials Synchwire upper features dual boa ip1 buckles and soft lace guides, which allow you to adjust your speed on the fly while reaping the benefits of the shoes light weight. Thermal-welded Teijin TPU adds structural support exactly where its needed, and a high-modulus Easton EC90 SLX2 carbon fiber plate provides ultimate stiffness-to-weight for power transfer. Our adjustable Super Natural Fit footbed system is the final touch, allowing you to customize arch support right out of the box for luxurious comfort and optimal pedaling efficiency.

Synchwire construction is a stitch-less upper that's vented and reinforced to create a lightweight cycling shoe with incredible airflow and structural integrity Synchwire is an advanced composite of thermo-bonded film that provides overall durability, a non-woven internal sheet for distributing the force from the BOA' Fit System to the upper for direct power transfer, and mono-filament mesh for ventilation.

BOA IP-I dials
The BOA IP-I Fit System provides fast, two-way micro-adjustability with the turn of the dial. The combination of the dial, lace, and guides reduces weight and provides finer adjustment (l mm increments) compared to traditional buckles, and it offers an instant release function, too. BOA Fit System dials and laces are guaranteed for the lifetime of the product.

EC90 SLX2 Carbon Outsole
Our Easton-engineered outsole features EC90" high modulus carbon for class-leading stiffness- to-weight, with a flat perimeter edge that allows your foot to
conform naturally to the shoe's upper for greater comfort.

SuperNatural Fit System
The Giro SuperNatural Fit System includes an adjustable arch support kit with Low, Medium, and High arch supports. You can adjust arch support to enhance fit and pedaling efficiency while reducing the chances of common discomforts like hotspots, numbness, and cramping.
